At Mariager Camping we have the Green Stay environmental certification as proof of our efforts – but you can also make a difference when camping.

At Mariager Camping, nature is at the heart of the experience. Thanks to our unique location right on the shores of Mariager Fjord, there is plenty of space to slow down, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and take in the beautiful views across the water. Many of our guests tell us that the tranquillity, the stunning scenery, and the spectacular sunsets are among their favourite memories from their stay.
We care deeply about the nature that surrounds us, which is why we work every day to protect it. We are continuously making more sustainable choices in the way we run our campsite, with the aim of reducing our environmental impact and taking responsibility for the beautiful surroundings we are privileged to be a part of.
Through our Green Stay certification, we are constantly working on new initiatives to make Mariager Camping even more sustainable.
Our ESG Commitment
For us, sustainability is about more than individual initiatives. It is an integral part of how we run Mariager Camping – with consideration for nature, our guests, our employees, and the local community.
To gain a clear overview of our efforts, we have prepared an ESG report. The report describes where we are today, the initiatives we are already working on, and the opportunities we see for further improvement.
ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance – focusing on environmental responsibility, social responsibility, and responsible business practices. The report is an important tool that helps us set clear goals and make informed decisions as we continue to reduce our environmental impact and strengthen our commitment to sustainability.
